In 2015, Samsung released a Picture frame-TV hybrid called the Serif. This was introduced to make TVs less obtrusive in a living space, blending in more with the room. Now, Samsung have announced the Frame, the latest iteration of this technology.
The Frame will first be released in 55″ and 65″ models with a range of different bezels such as Dark Wood Grain, Black, White and more to come. The panel is based on a LCD UHD Samsung screen that can function as both a normal television but also (as the name suggests) a picture frame. Samsung worked with famed Swiss industrial designer Yves Béhar, who curated the built-in artwork. There are over 100 photos of different themes to choose from so that you can use the Television as a digital picture frame. You can even add your own images onto the Frame via USB.
James-Morrow is a reseller for Samsung and we very much look forward to getting a hands-on of the Frame in early June.
