Grado SR325e - On-ear Open-back Headphones
Improvements to the best
With a new driver and cable design now fitted to the ‘e’ model, the Grado SR325e distortion is lower and clarity is higher than ever before. Still featuring the metal housing from the previous version, resonant distortion is amongst the lowest in its class and certainly an improvement upon the already impressive lower Prestige models.
The finest Prestige sound
Although the sound quality is typically Grado, smooth and detailed, the SR325e offer by far the best frequency response of any Prestige headphone. Just take a look at the extended frequency response of 18 – 24,000 Hz and you’ll see what we mean. Put simply, the SR325e goes lower and higher than any other Grado Prestige headphones. This means a more powerful bass and vivid treble response.
If you’re looking to immerse yourself in high-end audio, you could do much worse than invest in the ultra-luxurious Grado SR325e open back headphones. Their on-ear design and 3.5mm jack means they’re a brilliant hi-fi accompaniment, and the included 3.5mm adapter means you can use them on the go too
Using densely padded earpieces and a broad headband, the SR325e’s are more comfortable than they might at first appear. With swivel earpieces, they also fit snugly against your ears, as well as folding flat for ease of storage. The robust construction is tough enough to take on a daily commute while still offering long-term comfort.
The unique retro style is quite unlike rivals’ headphones. In the tradition of many of the best products, however, form follows function with nothing superfluous in the Grado’s design.
If you like the Grado sonic signature but crave a more powerful, dynamic sound, then the SR325e’s are simply the best Prestige model to date – and that’s saying something!
