The Creek 4040A integrated amplifier is the successor to the Evolution 50A and retains the DNA of the original CAS4040 released in 1982, while incorporating improvements and updates to meet contemporary listening preferences.

Matching Miniature and Exacting design
The Creek 4040A integrated amplifier, with its extruded aluminum front panel, is designed to complement the Creek 4040 CD player.

The 4040A utilizes advanced MERUS™ Infineon technology, enabling it to drive challenging loads to realistic listening levels with high fidelity. The power amplifier can be driven directly via Line 1.It is equipped with a high-frequency 350W power supply specifically designed for audio performance, ensuring it remains unaffected by the quality of the incoming mains supply

Internal DAC
The integrated DAC employs a reference-quality 32-bit ES9018k2m Sabre32 to convert PCM and DSD digital audio signals to analog, enhancing the clarity and richness of your music. The unit supports all digital sources via USB, optical, and coaxial inputs. Furthermore, Bluetooth 5.0 AptX ensures high-quality music streaming and seamless wireless connectivity.

Standby
Power consumption is reduced by powering-down non-essential circuitry when not required.

Phono Upgrade
Vinyl music lovers may plug-in an optional Sequel mk4 Phono pre-amp in place of Line 2 to match a wide range of Moving Magnet and high output Moving Coil cartridges found on modern turntables.
