The amplifier features high-quality capacitors in the signal path, a uniquely tuned short signal and power supply path PCB, and cascode circuitry for improved power supply immunity, making it one of the best integrated amplifiers on the market.

The headphone output has an output impedance of less than 12 Ohms at 1kHz. It can produce a maximum level of 4.8V RMS (700mW) into 33 Ohms with 0.05% Total Harmonic Distortion (THD) at 1kHz. At 2V output 1kHz, the total harmonic distortion is less than 0.02% (120mW). The maximum level that can be produced into 330 Ohms with 0.02% THD at 1kHz is 7V RMS (150mW) and the total harmonic distortion at 2V output 1kHz is less than 0.015% (12mW).
