The Gold Note PSX-5.2 is a dedicated external power supply designed specifically for Gold Note’s 5.2 Series components, including the PH-5.2, CD-5.2, HP-5.2 and DS-5.2. Far from being a simple accessory, it is engineered as an integral extension of the core product, delivering improved electrical stability, lower noise and greater dynamic authority. A new black anodised aluminium chassis reduces magnetic interaction, contributing to a darker background and enhanced retrieval of micro detail.

Internally, the PSX-5.2 features a four-rail audio-grade power supply with ultra-low-noise voltage regulation and extremely fast response time. By delivering higher current with minimal voltage variation, it allows connected components to operate under more stable and controlled conditions. The audible result is tighter bass control, improved micro-dynamics, greater coherence in complex passages and a more solid, stable soundstage. Rather than altering tonal character, it removes instability and interference that can mask musical information.

Its dual-output architecture allows a phono stage and a line-level component to remain permanently connected, dedicating the full energy reserve to whichever unit is active.
